What’s In Adrenal Supplements?
Here is a list of the ingredients we feature in our PROCEED Adrenal supplement along with outside supporting documentation:
L-tyrosine – 800mg**
L-Tyrosine is beneficial in supporting the adrenal, thyroid, and pituitary glands. Effects of L- tyrosine supplementation are most apparent during periods of stress. Tyrosine can reduce the levels of stress hormones and alleviate the presentations of stress such as fatigue and cognitive decline. It has also been shown to help the thyroid gland produce T4, an important hormone for metabolic health.

Licorice root extract - 100mg** (Glycyrrhiza glabra) (5:1 concentration)
Licorice assists the adrenals by preventing the breakdown of cortisol, one of the major hormones produced by the adrenal glands to combat stress. Its cortisol sparing effects help in maintaining energy levels which results in a better response to stressful situations.

Phosphatidylserine - 200mg** (from sunflower lectin)
Phosphatidylserine (PS) supplementation has been found to promote a less stressed, more relaxed state and a subjective improvement in mood. PS has also been known for supporting exercise tolerance and reducing exercise-induced physiological stress. PS is thought to promote a desirable hormonal status for athletes by moderating increases in cortisol levels, effectively lowering the cortisol/testosterone ratio to support tissue repair and lean muscle building.

Siberian ginseng -100mg** (Eleutherococcus senticosus) (10:1 concentration)
Siberian ginseng naturally regulates the stress hormone levels and improves mental health. It helps suppress the on set several serious diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, heart diseases and autoimmune disorders. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and works great for boosting your energy and metabolism.

Oat - 200mg** (Avena sativa) (10:1 concentration)
Traditionally oats have been in use since long and are considered as stimulant, antispasmodic, antitumor, diuretic, and neurotonic (making it a fantastic adrenal supportive agent).
Supporting documentation:
ATP - 400mg** (Adenosine Triphosphate)
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is the energy molecule of the cell and your cells main energy source. The energy from ATP drives all bodily functions, such as contracting muscles, maintaining the electrical potential of nerve cells, and absorbing food in the gastrointestinal tract.

Alfalfa - 200mg** (Medicago sativa) (5:1 concentration)
Alfalfa’s potassium and sodium content supports the stress response system, making it a great addition to this full spectrum adrenal supportive product.
Supporting documentation:
Shatavari - 100mg** (as Asparagus racemosus) (10:1 concentration)
Shatavari has been shown to enhance physical stamina and endurance, as well as increase the weight of fatigued adrenal glands after exercise stress – suggesting its adaptogenic support for adrenal health. This herb also balances the production of adrenal cortisol, making it a natural adaptogen.
Supporting documentation:
Lion’s Mane - 500mg** (as Hericium erinaceus) (5:1 concentration)
Lion's mane is said to strengthen the immune system, stimulate digestion, and protect against cancer. The medicinal mushroom has also been shown in studies to help reduce the significance of depression, which can lead to increases in energy and overall mood.

Pantothenic Acid B5 - 50mg 1,000 (as calcium pantothenate)
Pantothenic acid plays a key role in helping the body produce stress-related hormones, like cortisol, in the adrenal glands. When chronically stressed, B5 deficiency can result, leading to impaired adrenal function and an inability to respond to stress in a healthy way. Supplementing with B5 can help improve overall perception of stress, leading to a healthier stress response system.

Rose hips - 300mg** (Rosa canina L., Rosaceae) (10:1 concentration)
Rose hips have cardiovascular benefits, lower lipids, are anti-inflammatory, reduce high cholesterol and are anti-allergenic. The variety of flavonoids in rose hips increase the absorption of its high vitamin C content, and the adrenals LOVE vitamin C, making it a great addition to this adrenal supportive combination.

DMAE - 30mg** (Dimethylaminoethanol)
DMEA can boost energy levels, which can be beneficial for those suffering from adrenal insufficiency. DMAE has shown positive results in the treatment of a variety of cognitive and disruptive disorders, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and memory lapses.
