What Are The Ingredients That Make This The Best Fat Burner & Metabolism Booster?

This formula is designed to support endocrine balance when combined with a strategic nutrition program and exercise.  Find what makes up the 2,946.2 milligrams of our Metabolism supplement & find supporting documentation below:

Vitamin C – 250 mg %DV** (as rose hips)

(10:1 concentration)

Rose hip is the fruit that develops from the blossoms of the wild rose plant.  The benefits of rose hip supplementation is vast and studies have shown it to be valuable in the treatment of arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease, diabetes, and many others. Rose hips are particularly helpful for athletic performance, due to its adaptogenic properties and ability to reduce inflammation. (see: Therapeutic Applications of Rose Hips from Different Rosa Species (nih.gov))

Vitamin B-6 - 25mg  %DV 1471% (as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate)

Vitamin B6 assists in the metabolic functions associated with protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism. It also assists in the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Human research also shows a beneficial effect of B6 in preventing heart disease, by reducing high homocysteine levels that lead to narrowing of arteries.

(see: Vitamin B-6 - Mayo Clinic)

Pantetheine (B5 derivative) – 500mg %DV 1,000% (as pantetheine)

Co-enzyme A is a particularly important compound and is essential in the metabolism of protein, fat, and carbohydrates. It is also the precursor for the body’s production of adrenal steroids, cholesterol, bile, and hemoglobin. While pantothenic acid (a close relative to pantetheine), ultimately leads to the creation of co-enzyme A, the use of pantetheine is a much more effective way to achieve the similar effect as pantothenic acid and with enhanced potency. Pantetheine is critical to the management of adrenal insufficiency and auto-immune disorders. It allows the adrenal glands to generate more cortisone which is an anti-stress hormone. With more cortisone produced, the body’s inflammatory response is reduced. (see: Pantethine, a derivative of vitamin B5, favorably alters total, LDL and non-HDL cholesterol in low to moderate cardiovascular risk subjects eligible for statin therapy: a triple-blinded placebo and diet-controlled investigation - PMC (nih.gov) )

Zinc - 20mg 182%DV (as Zinc picolinate)

Recent studies have reported that zinc has been implicated in altered lipid markers, insulin resistance and some obesity markers. Zinc also helps support healthy thyroid hormone utilization in the body and is integrally involved in the normal life cycle and has many important regulatory, catalytic, and defensive functions. For athletic performance, a study showed that zinc supplementation had a positive hormonal benefit following exercise. The researchers broke participants into four groups. Those who took a zinc supplement had higher serum testosterone levels following exercise than those who didn’t. This is critical for muscle growth and recovery as well as supporting healthy metabolism to encourage lean body mass. (see: Zinc and Liver Disease - PMC (nih.gov) & The excretion of trace metals in human sweat - PubMed (nih.gov) & Effects of zinc supplementation on obesity: study protocol for a randomized controlled clinical trial - PMC (nih.gov))

Chromium - 200mcg 571%DV (as Chromium picolinate)

In addition to its effects on glucose, insulin, and lipid metabolism, chromium has been reported to increase lean body mass and decrease percentage body fat, which may lead to weight loss in humans. (see: Effects of chromium on body composition and weight loss - PubMed (nih.gov))

Glycine – 700mg %DV** (as L-glycine)

Green Tea Extract - 250mg %DV** (Camellia sinensis)(leaf)

[standardized to contain 98% polyphenols and 45% EGCg]

Catechins and caffeine, both contained in green tea, are each believed to have a role in increasing energy metabolism, which may lead to weight loss. In addition, green tea extract is widely used for several health-related issues, including antioxidant protection, improved brain function, reduction in inflammation, among many other benefits. Studies show that green tea may improve some of the main risk factors for these diseases, which includes improving total cholesterol levels. A 2018 study found that green tea extract improved fatigue associated with muscle damage and oxidative stress in athletes. (see: Green tea for weight loss and weight maintenance in overweight or obese adults - PubMed (nih.gov))

Forskolin Extract - 250mg %DV** (Coleus forskohlii)(root

[standardized to contain 20% forskolin]

Studies demonstrate that a balanced diet and regular exercise, plus a daily forskolin supplement, decrease blood sugar, hypertension, and abdominal fat, while at the same time increasing weight loss, bone density and lean muscles.

American Ginseng - 200mg %DV** (Panax quinquefolius)(root)

[standardized to contain 5% ginsenosides]

A review of previous in vitro and in vivo studies revealed that ginseng and ginsenosides can increase energy expenditure by stimulating the adenosine monophosphate-activated kinase pathway and can reduce energy intake. Moreover, in high fat diet-induced obese and diabetic individuals, ginseng has shown a two-way adjustment effect on adipogenesis. (see: Ginseng and obesity - PMC (nih.gov))

Banaba Extract - 100mg %DV** (Lagerstroemia speciosa)(leaf

[standardized to contain 1% corosolic acid]

The beneficial effects of banaba and corosolic acid with respect to various aspects of glucose and lipid metabolism appear to involve multiple mechanisms, including enhanced cellular uptake of glucose, impaired hydrolysis of sucrose and starches, decreased gluconeogenesis and the regulation of lipid metabolism. (see: A review of the efficacy and safety of banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa L.) and corosolic acid - PubMed (nih.gov))

N-Acetyl-Tyrosine - 100mg %DV** (as N-Acetyl-Tyrosine)

L-tyrosine has also been shown to help the thyroid gland produce T4, an important hormone for metabolic health. L-Tyrosine is beneficial in supporting the adrenal, thyroid, and pituitary glands. Effects of L- tyrosine supplementation is most apparent during periods of stress. Tyrosine can reduce the levels of stress hormones and alleviate the presentations of stress such as fatigue and cognitive decline. When the stress response system is supported well, the body will feel safer releasing stored energy (as fat). (see: L-Tyrosine Uses, Side Effects & Warnings - Drugs.com)

Vanadium – 1mg %DV** (TRAACS® Vanadium Nicotinate Glycinate Chelate)

The vast majority of vanadium-related studies center on its role in the insulin-glucose pathway. Using vanadium to handle the symptoms of diabetes has actually been taking place in medical practices for over a century. Additionally, vanadium compounds take part in a long list of anti-diabetic activity in order to improve control over glucose levels, including:

  • inhibiting gluconeogenesis
  • stimulating glucose oxidation and transport
  • inhibiting hepatic gluconeogenesis
  • inhibiting intestinal glucose transport
  • increasing glucose uptake and glycogen synthesis in skeletal muscle

(see: Vanadium in Biological Action: Chemical, Pharmacological Aspects, and Metabolic Implications in Diabetes Mellitus - PMC (nih.gov))

Brown seaweed fucoxanthin - 200mg (10:1 concentration) %DV**

(see: Fucoxanthin: A Promising Medicinal and Nutritional Ingredient - PMC (nih.gov))

Pomegranate seed oil – 250mg %DV** (as Punica granatum L.)

(Standardized to min. 40% Ellagic acid) (10:1 concentration)

Polyphenols and conjugated linolenic acid in pomegranate can burn fat and boost metabolism. Pomegranate is a rich source of anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidants, and fiber. This combination of nutrients can help to bind extra fat and cholesterol from the body.

Ginger root -100mg %DV** (Zingiber officinale)

(10:1 concentration)

Ginger root has been clinically shown to improve hip to waist ratio, shown to protect against liver disease, reduce inflammation and improves digestion. Studies show it reduces muscle soreness as well as aids in physical performance recovery in athletes. (see: The effects of ginger intake on weight loss and metabolic profiles among overweight and obese subjects: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials - PubMed (nih.gov) & https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3020385/ & https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30299178/ & https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25787877/)
